WIWTW #2

Dress - ASOS // Necklace - H&M
Tights - M&S

This dress was my ASOS sale purchase of the month. It fits the way that I want it to, is made of good material (read - isn't see-through) and is true to colour, but the best part was that it was just £14. I mean, crazy good right?

It also makes me feel slightly more professional. In our office, like many mags, anything really goes - I'm sure they'll draw the line at like a latex bodysuit, or even worse, a Kappa tracksuit - so sometimes it's easy to throw an outfit together that's a bit 'meh'. However, this dress is perfect to throw on because it's kind of impossible to not look office appropriate.

Major plus for the elastic waistband that allowed for the jacket potato I had at lunch.

Dotty.

Dress - Miss Patina @ Topshop // Sunglasses - Marks and Spencer
Watch - Michael Kors // Purse - Mulberry // Necklace - Urban Outfitters
Lipstick - MAC lipliner in Brick

Hey Girlies!

So I've fallen in love with this dress, my mum actually picked it up from Topshop for herself and was going to bring it back but I grabbed it before she could!

I love me a cute dress with a good collar. I don't get to rock a peter pan collar because of my chesty area so a statement collar that flatters my boobage is always a win for me. Plus as soon as I saw it, it reminded me of something the gorgeous Liv from What Olivia Did would wear, so I was all over it.

I wore this out running errands with my mum and then to lunch the other day and because she drove I slipped my phone and lipliner into my purse and I was good to go. I always carry an unnecessarily large bag or fill my satchel to death so it was nice to travel light for once!

Simple and Sparkle.

Vest - Primark // Jeans - Topshop // Watch - Michael Kors // Bag - Chanel // Sunglasses - Marks & Spencer // Shoes - Kurt Geiger

When it's this nice outside, the last thing I want to do is throw on layers of clothes or loads of accessories; sometimes it has to be a simple vest and jeans situation. So what better to accessorise with than Chanel and this new beauts of a pair of shoes?

I'm so fussy when it comes to shoes so I never suggest anyone get them for me as a present - just ask my boyfriend, I think I traumatised him into never wanting to ever buy me a pair! - but my cousin truly succeeded with these beauties! They add just the right amount of sparkle to the most simple outfits. I think it's love.

Collar + T-shirt

Shirt - AX Paris// T-shirt - Primark // Jeans - Topshop // Necklace - River Island
Sunglasses - Marks and Spencer

It would seem that I'm somewhat incapable of wearing a rolled-sleeve t-shirt without accessorising it with this necklace, as demonstrated with this previous post.

Anyhow, I thought I'd experiment with a bit of a t-shirt shirt collar situation, and I love how big the collar of this old AX Paris sleeveless shirt is. Not gonna lie, I stole it from my mum's wardrobe and it is now firmly in mine, but hai-ho whats the point of living at home with your parents if you can't permanently borrow clothes and make up from your madre?

Hope you all had a lovely bank holiday weekend! Over the weekend I let my four year old niece and two year old nephew do my make up... there are no words, but I recorded it to put on here so I'll try and put it up sometime next week.

Shorts and Shirt.

Shirt - Topshop // Shorts - Cutomised Levis
Tights - Primark // Belt - Asos
Watch - Michael Kors // Rings - Primark // Boots - Topshop
Sunglasses - Marks and Spencer

Hi lovelies,

First of all how sunny was it yesterday?! SO GOOD! Alas the sun seems to have retreated back to where ever it has been hiding all these months, but the glimpse of it was delightful.

I made these shorts when I was in my 'I reaaaally want a pair of vintage Levis' phase and when my sister was throwing out old jeans when she was pregnant, I took this pair of Levis and made them my project. I  sat myself in front of youtube and watched about 20 how to videos on making shorts from jeans. I dip dyed them, cut, frayed, ripped etc until I was happy.
