Just a quick post to show you what I wore on Sunday.
This was my outfit that I wore to my brother-in-law’s 40th birthday dinner at my sisters house.
I actually bought this dress about a month ago but I just haven’t worn it. I was a bit iffy about paying £17 for it, mainly because it’s from Primark, and I think paying that amount for a dress from Primark is a bit extortionate.
Anyhow I got it, mainly because I was pushed by my mum, who loved the birdy print (thanks mum). I do love it though! It came with an ugly plastic belt which I threw away and have just replaced it here with my favourite plaited belt (I can’t remember where it’s from?!? Soz.)
I’ve teamed it with my trusty cardigan, which literally goes with everything! (I wore it with hi-tops here) And also my beloved Ambush Topshop ankle boots.
My hair was being super unruly because I was due a trip to the hairdressers the next day to have my roots relaxed (chemically straightened). So I used my hair doughnut to create a ballerina bun.
I thought I looked a bit too much like a teacher, so I slicked on some ‘Deep Attraction’ lipstick by Mac (my fave) so at least I look like a more rebellious teacher!
This morning I received my Cats Ears ring from Cheap Frills! It made my morning, and I’ll be doing a blogpost on it hopefully tomorrow.
