You know when you think ‘It's autumn, let me pull on the black tights and big jumper…’ but the weather has other ideas? Yeah that was me on this precise day and as I type this I’m sitting freezing in a cap-sleeve blouse. Brilliant.

Ahh the return of What I Wore To Work. Ever since my partner in crime, Sarah, left work, I’ve kind of let my outfit posts slip but I’ve enlisted  another lovely co-worker, Annie to help me with outfit snaps.

I’m so awkward when it comes to transitional dressing but this coatigan is making it a lot easier. It can literally be thrown other anything.

Also three cheers to me breaking in my loafers - no more plasters! Hurrah!

Despite the beautiful sunshine we've had in England lately, it's not exactly been warm, has it? So while I'm willing to get my legs out for a couple of hours, my jumpers aren't being folded away just yet. 

This skirt is one of those pieces that I saw, I loved, I pondered over, I decided I wanted, it sold out on online, I vowed to find it at all costs, I hunted it down and felt unrivalled joy once it was finally mine. While I seriously love it, this it the only way I'll wear it, with chunkier black pieces to off-set the girliness, and the fact that it's so very short.

I'm getting quite good with these grown-up coat thingys. I especially love this one because I'm kind of obsessed with navy and love the way it fits - not oversized, but moveable. 

It originally had buttons on the sleeve as well but I felt like they were a bit much so I cut them off and sewed the material back. These photos were taken last week, and the weather would have us believe that this will be to thick to wear from here on in... but I'm not fooled.

First off, my top is back to front. I realised that when I was doing my make up, but kind of dug the high neckline so I kept it that way. I know, I'm so cutting edge. 

Secondly, when I put this on my mum told me I looked a bit like a grandma.
