I’m such a sucker for take out coffee. The oodles of choice,
the various sizes, the sheer convenience… everything, well almost everything.
What I’m not a fan of? The way it’s drilling a hole in my bank account. So I’ve
cut back on the amount of Costa, Starbucks and Caffe Nero coffee I consume,
after all I can make it at home and work for a lot lot less. But you know what
you can’t make at home? Those delicious ice coffee frappes… *drools onto
keyboard*
The other day on my self-designated lunchbreak whilst
working from home it was pissing down way too much to leave the house, but I
really fancied an ice frappe but not enough to venture outside, obvs. So I
thought how hard can it really be to whip one up at home? Turns out it’s not. In
fact it’s super easy. Simply throw the following ingredients into a blender or
Nutribullet et voila!
Coffee – two teaspoons of strong instant coffee
Sugar – two teaspoon
A dash of cinnamon
Cocoa powder – one teaspoon
Mix the above with 1/2 cup of milk prior to blending.
Fill your blender with a cup of ice, then pour in the coffee
mix and blitz until smooth!
Genuinely, it’s that easy!
